Don West faleceu aos 59 anos

É quase impossível pensar na TNA ou Impact Wrestling sem lembrar a voz de Don West, um dos mais históricos comentadores da promotora de Nashville.

Esta sexta-feira, o seu antigo parceiro de comentário, Mike Tenay, noticiou o falecimento de Don West aos 59 anos de idade, depois de vários meses a lutar contra um linfoma.

Don West trabalhou na TNA/Impact Wrestling entre 2002 e 2012, ficando conhecido pelos seus comentários ao lado de Mike Tenay e pelos seus “descontos”.

Em Junho de 2021, Don West revelou que lhe foi diagnosticado um linfoma cerebral. Em Setembro seguinte, anunciou que após 8 semanas de quimioterapia e 13 tratamentos de radiação, o seu cancro estava em remissão.

Infelizmente, em Dezembro do ano passado foi revelado que Don West estava a batalhar contra o cancro pela segunda vez.
